INGA CULTURAL PAVILION.
Architectural Design and Cultural Exploration
The Inga Cultural Pavilion is an architectural exploration inspired by the relationship between indigenous cultural identity, landscape, and the natural environment. Drawing from the Inga community of Colombia, the project proposes a contemplative space that encourages the appreciation of nature through architectural form and spatial experience. The design responds to the site's sloping topography, incorporating terraced platforms, ramps, and stairways that establish a dynamic connection between different elevations. Geometric volumes, elevated structures, and open viewing areas frame the surrounding landscape, while a central water feature and dense vegetation reinforce the connection with nature. The proposal integrates human scale, accessibility, and site-responsive design principles to create a meaningful architectural experience rooted in cultural and environmental awareness.
