VI IBAGUÉ HERITAGE WEEK — “SOUND IDENTITY”.
Exhibition Graphic Design and Editorial Design
As part of the VI Ibagué Heritage Week, *Sound Identity*, this project involved the graphic and editorial design of two exhibitions dedicated to the documentation, preservation, and dissemination of the city's architectural and cultural heritage. The first exhibition, *Unnoticed Heritage (Patrimonio Inadvertido)*, presented research developed by students in the Architectural Site Documentation course under the guidance of Professor Solís. Installed as a temporary exhibition in the Callejón de los Vientos at the Darío Echandía Library in Ibagué, the exhibition featured architectural documentation, historical research, and visual analyses highlighting the city's overlooked built heritage. The second exhibition showcased an editorial preview of the book *Salón Alberto Castilla*, presented at the Alberto Castilla Hall of the Ibagué Conservatory. The graphic design process focused on organizing historical documentation, architectural drawings, photographs, and research findings into a cohesive visual narrative. Both exhibitions explored graphic design as a tool for architectural communication, transforming academic research and historical documentation into accessible visual experiences that promote cultural awareness and strengthen the connection between architecture, heritage, and collective memory.
Research and source credits are retained in the supplied exhibition panels. Related to the Heritage Memory Ibagué documentation.
